For the contractor whose work calls him away from normal commuting, making over-night stays attractive
- who needs a site office
- a toilet, shower, sleeping accommodation
- a kitchen for healthy and reasonably priced meals
- a place to see clients
- or do work that requires privacy, protection from the elements or special tooling
- and who doesn't want to stay in a hotel or leave his site
this design has to be the perfect compromise.

It's cost effective, can be towed behind any medium size towing vehicle, has enormous interior volume and security, fitted with a robust Zincalume Steel exterior cladding for strength and longevity.

Interiors can be totally customized to suit or finished by the client. The base price is R100,000 with a toilet and shower cubicle, 2, 4 meter head room and an interior space of 3,6 x 2, 4 meters. The extra large window that can be easily removed to create a hatchway, provides privacy from outside whilst sitting and a clear view of the work site when standing.

For an extra R20,000 the van can be fully fitted with insulation, wall covering, a double bed / dinette, kitchen with stove sink, hot water and fridge, a working area and space for tools, clothes and site gear.

The basic unit as shown is kept under 750 kg to make towing easy and keep costs down. A heavier version is available with double-axle and brakes can carry up to 2750 kgs.

The unit lends itself well to off grid living and can be easily fitted with 12 volt DC pump for the gas fired hot shower,and LED lights running of the vehicle battery or a small solar panel.

The cost of the vehicle can be written off  for tax as with a commercial vehicle with the added benefit that it can double as holiday accommodation.
