After experiencing over-priced and poor workmanship, I began doing many things for myself that I'd normally pay someone else to do. Along the way I discovered a love of design and woodwork, and went on to create:
- multi-functional furniture for adults and children
- wood and cob cabin retreats
- an art studio and garden shed
- coastal and ocean going yachts
- tree houses and high ropes courses
- a nature retreat in Sedgefield
- and now, my passion - tiny houses - gypsy caravans, sheep wagons and shepherds huts - on the ground, on a trailer or even up a tree.
I've been a builder, sailor, diver, pilot, climber, 4x4 instructor to name a few and understand how wind, water, weight and the sun affect structures in our windy and often wet Cape.
I'll gladly co-design a 'tiny house' to suit your unique requirements, be it a mobile office, healing retreat, consulting room, student pad or land yacht. You will love the feel of it as I do.
Alternatively, if your interested in building a project yourself and need a hand or want to gift your child with the practical skills necessary to build a 'tiny home', I'm more than willing to act as a mentor.

I do this work because I love creating intelligent, practical and beautiful designs that feel good, make sense, are eco-friendly and are the perfect retreat from the 'busyness' of modern life. If you have an idea, a project or something you value that you want to design or build, let me be your first call on 0829505858.

ReplyDeleteis there an email address I can write to? I tried the ph# but it wouldn't work. I'm guessing that it has to do w/my ignorance about what Int'l digits to use as a prefix.
